Kootenay Boundary 50/50 Staff Lottery Rules of Play

  • Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older. If a winning ticket bears a minor’s name, the prize will be lawfully delivered on behalf of the minor to the minor’s parents, legal guardian or trustee.
  • Must be a regular full-time, part-time or casual employee of Interior Health.
  • Must have earned an income in the prior pay period to enter and must not be on an unpaid leave of absence.
  • Foundation staff are not eligible.
  • Participants can join, withdraw or adjust their entries at any time throughout the year, by making these changes online.
  • Each participant is assigned an individual token number to ensure that only one winner is selected each draw and that there will be no ties or split.
  • Each draw day, the winning name is emailed to lotto participants at the email address provided. Players are notified via email of any updates or changes to the KBRH Health Foundation’s Kootenay Boundary 50/50 Staff Lottery.
  • You are responsible for keeping your contact information up to date and making these changes online.
  • Winners are required to provide their IH Identification Card as well as a second piece of Photo ID in order to claim their prize.
  • Winners consent to the release of their name by the licensee.
  • Should there be a delay or a situation that  prevents the draw from occurring, a substitute draw will take place as soon as possible and participants will be notified via email with further information.
  • Each payday, a deduction is made from your pay. Half of this contribution is a non-tax deductible contribution to the KBRH Health Foundation, the other half is placed in the prize pool. One hundred percent (100%) of that prize pool is awarded to the person whose name is drawn. Draws will take place on the Wednesday between paydays at 10am.
  • Tickets may be sold & purchased only in British Columbia & only employees on the payroll may participate.
