Thanks to our amazing donors, the Foundation has been able to purchase a Bariatric Bed for the ICU at KBRH. Andrea, the Patient Care Coordinator for the ICU, shares how appreciative the staff and most importantly the patients are, to have this important piece of equipment. Patients are able to be turned easier so they are more comfortable. As well, frequent turning helps prevent painful bedsores. We are grateful for every donation, big or small, as they all have great impact in helping improve healthcare in the Kootenay Boundary region.
