This is a new Electrosurgical Unit, also referred to as ERBE, purchased through your donations. Lydia, RN in the Ambulatory Care Department, shows us the new ERBE Unit which offers improved regulation and automatic dosing of power as well as more precise Cut and Coagulation functions for endoscopy procedures. This machine can be used for endoscopic or open procedures, and gives the surgeon flexibility, control and ease of use so patients have the highest quality of care. Another feature, is that this machine can be programmed according to anatomy, specific procedure or individual physician.
