Portable Monitor

Respiratory Therapist, Amy, shows us a portable monitor which will be used throughout KBRH on adult and pediatric patients to non-invasively monitor vitals such as oxygen saturation, heart rate, carbon monoxide and end tidal carbon dioxide. The carbon monoxide feature allows fast and efficient triage for victims of smoke inhalation, while the oxygen and CO2 features are used to identify respiratory insufficiency in patients receiving sedation.
