Staying at JoeAnna’s House helps hundreds of families from our region save thousands of dollars each during extended medical stays, many of which are unexpected and unplanned for. Currently, 21% of guests come from the Kootenay Boundary Region.

But right now, far too many families are being turned away.

Over the past 18 months, the 20-room house has had a constant waitlist. Over 1,000 families in crisis have been turned away, left scrambling to find other accommodation, some of whom can’t afford it. The need is growing. That’s why we’re working with the KGH Foundation to raise the funds needed to build a 10-room expansion on the home to alleviate the waitlist, and welcome more families during their darkest days.
