Perfectly Paired Chef’s Collaboration Fundraiser

$53,000 raised for the Orthopedic Enhancement Project

Trail, BC—The KBRH Health Foundation, in partnership with The Josie Hotel, is thrilled to announce the outstanding success of the Perfectly Paired Chef’s Collaboration Fundraiser held on March 16th. This esteemed event, featuring the culinary talents of Celebrity Chef Bruno Feldeisen and Executive Chef Takashi Harada, raised an impressive $53,000 for the Orthopedic Enhancement Project.

Celebrity Chef Bruno Feldeisen, acclaimed for his role as a judge on CBC’s Great Canadian Baking Show, joined forces with Executive Chef Takashi Harada of The Velvet Restaurant & Lounge to delight attendees with an array of exquisite dishes expertly paired with exceptional wines from Roche Wines.

“The Josie hotel and the Velvet Restaurant & Lounge are privileged to have hosted the KBRH Health Foundation’s fundraising dinner for the second consecutive year. Our commitment to advancing healthcare in our local region is a priority, and we are proud to stand behind the Orthopedic Enhancement Project at KBRH.” stated Robert Murray, General Manager of The Josie. “We extend our sincere appreciation to all who contributed to the success of the event, enabling the Foundation to raise essential funds for this important initiative. In addition to the culinary delights, the event commenced with personal speeches from two of KBRH’s orthopedic surgeons, setting the tone for an evening dedicated to advancing orthopedic care in our region. “We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support shown by our community and honoured to have had the opportunity to partner with esteemed chefs, orthopedic surgeons, Roche Wines and all our sponsors and supporters for this important cause,” expressed Lisa Pasin, Executive Director of the KBRH Health Foundation. “The success of the Perfectly Paired Chef’s Collaboration Fundraiser underscores the incredible impact that collective action can have on enhancing healthcare services in our region.”

Funds raised will directly contribute to the Orthopedic Enhancement Project, ensuring improved access to advanced orthopedic care locally.
