Smile Cookie Week Breaks Records Raising over $16,000

What an unforgettable Smile Cookie Week! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, this year’s campaign raised a record-breaking $16,065.02 in support of the Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital (KBRH) Health Foundation.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the loyal guests for their continued support and generosity, our dedicated Tim Hortons team members for their energy and commitment, and our incredible volunteers — including local businesses and community members — who rolled up their sleeves to decorate cookies and assist with collections. A special shout-out goes to the many small businesses and hospital departments who placed large pre-orders — your support played a major role in helping us reach this milestone.

All funds raised will directly support the Mental Health Matters Campaign, aimed at revitalizing mental health care across the Kootenay Boundary region. Proceeds will help enhance vital spaces at KBRH, including the Daly Pavilion, Harbour House, and the Pediatric Outdoor Space, ensuring more compassionate, accessible care for those who need it most.

“It’s incredible to see our community come together in such a meaningful way,” said Lisa Pasin, Executive Director of the KBRH Health Foundation. “This record-breaking year reflects the shared commitment we have to improving mental health care in our region. Every smile cookie purchased truly makes a difference.”
