Thank you to CIBC for their impactful $25,000 donation supporting the purchase of a new colonoscope for Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.⁠ This essential diagnostic tool helps physicians detect changes or abnormalities in the colon and rectum, allowing colorectal cancer and other conditions to be identified earlier. The new equipment will support the Endoscopy Clinic and Colon Screening Program at KBRH, strengthening access to vital screening and diagnostic services for patients across our region.⁠ Members of the CIBC Trail team recently presented the donation to Melissa Archambault, KBRH Health Foundation Board Director (second from right).⁠ With March marking Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, this support also highlights the importance of screening and early detection. We are grateful to CIBC for their continued commitment to advancing healthcare close to home.
