Nelson & District Credit Union has generously donated $2,000 to the Mental Health Matters Campaign during Light-Up the Hospitals! Pledge Day through their Community Impact Program. This contribution will help create safer, trauma-informed mental health spaces, increase access to compassionate, patient-centred care, and provide welcoming environments that support all individuals seeking mental health services. Mike Shankland, KBRH Health Foundation Board Director (right), gratefully accepted the donation from Brian Poch, Retail Loans Manager of NDCU, and Tanya Tymchshyn, Financial Services Officer (left to right). Thank you, Nelson & District Credit Union and your members, for your generous support and for helping ensure that mental health services are delivered with dignity, respect, and care—right here in our community!
