A new birthing bed has been introduced in one of the three labour rooms at the KBRH Maternity Ward. This specialized bed, pictured here with RN Emily, enhances the comfort of our community’s moms while providing essential support for healthcare providers. Specifically designed for maternity care, the bed swiftly transforms into a birthing space, ensuring safer maneuvering during urgent deliveries. This valuable addition was made possible through the generous support of the KGH Foundation’s Staff 50/50 Lottery funds.
