A new Colonoscope has been purchased for the Ambulatory Care Unit, which is an asset to the Endoscopy Clinic and Colon Screening Program at KBRH. Carly, Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory Care Unit holds up a colonoscope, which you can see is a long flexible tube with a tiny video camera at the tip that allows the surgeons to view the inside of the colon and detect and changes or abnormalities.
