Healing happens in spaces that feel safe, comfortable, and cared for and new weighted furniture at the Daly Pavilion is helping create just that—a more welcoming environment for patients receiving mental health care. Updated seating, tables, and comfort-focused furnishings have been added to improve function, safety and atmosphere, helping soften the space and bring a greater sense of calm to daily life on the unit. Made possible through donations to the Mental Health Matters Campaign, these improvements are helping reimagine what care environments can feel like at KBRH. Dr. Halstead, MHSU General Practitioner, shows us some of the new furniture pieces added to the unit. When a space feels better, care feels different too. Thank you for making a difference.
