KBRH Health Foundation is grateful to the TB Vets Charitable Foundation for their generous $30,000 donation, which has funded a new Glidescope for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at KBRH. The ICU at KBRH treats highly complex medical conditions, with over 1,300 patients requiring care each year. Maintaining essential respiratory equipment is critical, as patients experiencing trauma or severe medical conditions often need intubation as part of their treatment. The Glidescope’s advanced airway management technology offers enhanced visualization and precision, ensuring greater success in urgent and challenging procedures. KBRH Respiratory Therapist Amy Pickerell and ICU Physician Dr. Kundayi Nziramasanga (left to right) are pictured with the new equipment, expressing their appreciation for the life-saving impact it will have on patient care. A heartfelt thank you to TB Vets for their continued dedication to supporting respiratory care and making a lasting difference for our community.
