Thanks to a generous donation from TyCor Climate Control in memory of Stephanie Bell, KBRH’s Renal Unit now has a new water dispenser and ice machine to help make lengthy dialysis treatments more comfortable for patients. Dialysis treatments can last for several hours, making access to cold water and ice an important part of patient comfort. This new machine produces softer ice cubes that are easier for patients to chew, providing a small but meaningful comfort during treatment. Peter, LPN on the KBRH Renal Unit, is pictured here with the new equipment. This thoughtful donation in Stephanie Bell’s memory is helping make a difference for patients receiving care in our community.
