Autumn, RN, happily shows us the new Urology Video Tower purchased through your donations. The urology tower is used in the Ambulatory Care Procedures Unit. A camera and scope are attached to the Video Tower which allows the surgeons to perform flexible cystoscopy procedures on patients. The tower provides a light source and processor where the camera is connected and the scope is attached to the camera to provide an image on screen. This enables the surgeon to visualize the anatomy of the bladder to diagnose and treat any abnormalities found.
