The Vascular Access Torso Trainer is used during education sessions to practice the care and management of peripheral access devices; insertions, cleaning, access, dressing changes and problem solving. This Torso Trainer simulates picc lines, internal jugular lines, subclavian lines and port a cath, often used techniques on the Medical Floor. Under Helen, Simulation Knowledge Coordinator’s, guidance and leadership, this Torso Trainer will enable our medical teams to practice skills and techniques as well as gain knowledge and confidence to problem solve issues that may arise with patients.
