The third annual Operation Owatz Movement Challenge, in honour of Dr. Owatz, has raised a total of $11,528 towards the purchase of medical equipment to be used by the general surgeons in the Operating Rooms at KBRH. Andrea Dutchak, KBRH Health Foundation Board Member accepts this donation from Sandra Owatz, Operation Owatz Event Organizer and wife of Dr. Todd Owatz, and Lindy Welsby, Operation Owatz Event Organizer (left to right). The Operation Owatz campaign and movement challenge, together with the community, has raised over $81,000 over the past three years.
