Thanks to a generous donation from the Salmo and District Healthcare Auxiliary Society, Salmo Public Health has received a new breast pump to support local mothers and their babies. This much-needed piece of equipment is loaned out to new moms in the community to support them on their breastfeeding journey. The funds for this item were raised through sales at the Salmo Thrift Store— a wonderful example of how community giving goes directly back into supporting local families. Salmo Public Health Nurse Gabriella (middle), along with Auxiliary members Judi, Carol, Teresa, MaryAnne, and Loree, proudly display the new pump and kit. The team is thrilled to have this device available to offer to mothers in the community. Thank you to the Auxiliary for making a difference in the lives of new mothers and their babies!
